Multi Trade Operative - Rail

It’s time to join the UK’s biggest independent drainage specialist

The Lanes Group Rail division require an experienced multi trade operatives to work on various small projects within the Rail sector to boost the team and manage our increased workload in and around the Rainham area.

About you:

You’re a hard worker, keen to be part of a strong team, great customer service, so you’ll be able to communicate respectfully with clients and the public when necessary.

The ideal candidate must have 5 years’ experience in multi trades work (rail experience preferred), hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.

The job:

You should be willing to be flexible in your approach and have a specialism in carpentry, bricklaying or plastering. Works will include some concrete repairs, paving, painting, replacing doors and windows etc.

  • CSCS card holder an advantage but not essential
  • Certification of skilled trades would be beneficial.

Predominantly the role is for nights, however, you will be required to work day shifts when projects demand.
